Eli Roth (Cabin Fever, Death Wish) übernimmt die Regie beim geplanten Borderlands-Film.
Erstmals im Jahr 2015 angekündigt, basiert der Film auf einem Drehbuch von Craig Mazin (Chernobyl), während Avi und Ari Arad sowie Erik Feig als Produzenten mit an Bord sind.
"Wir sind überzeugt, den Code geknackt zu haben, um die anarchistische Welt von Borderlands in großem Stil auf die Leinwand zu bringen", sagt Lionsgate-Präsident Nathan Kahane dazu.
Konkrete Details liegen aktuell noch nicht vor. Es wäre möglich, dass sich das während Gearbox' Panel auf der PAX East am 27. Februar ändert. Warten wir es ab.
