MTV verleiht Spiele-Awards
Zuschauer bestimmen die Sieger
Am 21. November wird MTV Deutschland erstmals die MTV Games Awards verleihen.
Nachdem die senderexklusive Spieleshow Game One mit Simon Kretzschmar und Daniel Budiman bereits zwei Jahre läuft und man dem Thema Spiele schon einige Sondersendungen widmete, war eine eigene Awards-Show die logische Konsequenz, heißt es in der offiziellen Pressemitteilung.
In zehn Kategorien mit teilweise sehr eigensinnigen Namen - die Kategorie "Living in a Box" ehrt beispielsweise das beste Ingame-Item - können Zuschauer und Spielefans ab heute online auf einer speziellen Website über die Sieger abstimmen. Eingereicht wurden die Nominierungen - fünf per Kategorie - von "Spielejournalisten und Gaming-Freaks".
MTV wird die Show live am 21. November ab 20:00 Uhr aus dem Berliner ewerk übertragen. In der Pressemitteilung heißt es, dass man mit der Show nicht einfach ein weiteres Industrieevent auf die Beine stellen, sondern den "Spirit von Games" einfangen und auf die Bühne bringen möchte.
