Xbox One: Abwärtskompatibilität - Liste mit allen Spielen der Xbox 360

Konkurrenz belebt das Geschäft, heißt es - und die überaus praktische Abwärtskompatibilität der Xbox One ist ein weiterer eindrucksvoller Beleg dieser Binsenweisheit. Seit der Ankündigung im Rahmen der E3 2015 und der Veröffentlichung im selben Jahr hat Microsoft kontinuierlich an der Funktion gearbeitet und längst unter Beweis gestellt, dass es sich hierbei um keinen Schnellschuss handelt. Vielmehr das Gegenteil ist der Fall: Monat für Monat erscheinen neue Spiele - seien es Xbox-360- oder Xbox-1-Games - die ihr in zum Teil ordentlich aufgebohrter Optik auf eurer One (X) spielen könnt.

War die Auswahl anfänglich noch überschaubar, steht euch inzwischen ein sehr üppiger Fundus zur Verfügung. Von Straßenfegern mit Millionenbudget wie Gears of War 3 oder Halo: Reach bis hin zu kultigen Xbox-Live-Arcade-Titeln ist inzwischen so ziemlich alles vertreten, was man sich wünschen könnte. In ihrer Gesamtheit bilden die abwärtskompatiblen Spiele längst einen adäquaten Querschnitt der hochwertigen Xbox-360-Bibliothek. An der Xbox-1-Front sieht es allerdings noch ein wenig mau aus.

Dennoch: Auch wenn aufgrund des potenten Emulators der Xbox One inzwischen sowohl herunterladbare als auch diskbasierte Spiele unterstützt werden, ist die Auswahl längst noch nicht vollständig (und ihr solltet auch nicht davon ausgehen, dass dies je der Fall sein wird). Seit dem 24. Oktober 2017 ist es möglich, auch eine Handvoll ausgewählter Xbox-1-Spiele auf eurer One zu daddeln. Auch wenn Microsoft seither zwei weitere Pakete frischer Games nachgereicht hat, solltet ihr nicht damit rechnen, so viele abwärtskompatible Original-Xbox-Spiele wie für Xbox 360 zu bekommen. Um Zugriff auf die Klassiker zu erhalten, könnt ihr entweder eure alten Disks von anno dazumal ins Laufwerk schieben oder aber den Game-Store der One besuchen.

Abwärtskompatible Xbox-360-Spiele auf der Xbox One: Wie gut funktionieren sie?

Die Resultate variieren je nach Spiel. Wie unsere englischsprachigen Digital-Foundry-Kollegen zeigten, profitieren aber zumindest alle Klassiker von grundlegenden Verbesserungen wie dem Verschwinden von jeglichem Tearing und zum Teil deutlich kürzeren Ladezeiten.

Obwohl weniger anspruchsvolle Spiele wie Braid oder N+ den Emulator vor keinerlei Herausforderungen stellen, bereiten ihm CPU-lastigere Titel wie Halo: Reach oder Gears of War: Judgement durchaus kleinere Probleme.

Was Features und Funktionen anbelangt, könnt ihr folgende Unterstützungen erwarten:

• Digitale und diskbasierte Spiele ohne Kosten spielbar
• Bestehende Spielstände können mithilfe der Cloud weiterverwendet werden, außerdem sind DLCs, Achievements und das originale Dashboard verfügbar
• Multiplayer zwischen 360- und Xbox-One-Spielern möglich
• Ausgewählte Xbox-One-Systemfunktionen wie Game DVR, Windows-10-Streaming und Screenshots

Viele Xbox-360-Spiele sind zudem im Rahmen des bezahlpflichtigen Xbox-Game-Pass-Abos enthalten.
